PGDM - Rural Management (Emerging Economies)

Present Intake:

Total number of seats 180 (at Mumbai Campus)
Total number of seats 60 (at Bengaluru Campus)

Eligibility and Selection Criteria

A minimum 50% in graduation, which must be completed by June 2016

Candidates should have taken CAT (2015) conducted by the IIMs for the year specified in the advertisement (IIMS have no role in the Welingkar admission process) and /or/ XAT (2016) / and / or ATMA (2015-16) and / or CMAT (2015-16) and /or MH-CET (2016)

The Selection Process is divided into Two Stages:

Stage-I: Will apply for all students who submit their completed application forms with the requisite documents within the time specified by the Institute

Written test (WT) - 100 Maximum Marks
Psychometric Test - 100 Maximum Marks
Past Academic Performance (PAR) - 10 Maximum Marks
Work experience (WE) - 10 Maximum Marks
Total for Stage I - 220 Maximum Marks

Stage I of selection process will be the same for the students applied for PGDM/PGDM e-Business/PGDM Business Design /PGDM Retail Management/PGDM Healthcare /PGDM Rural Management

Application Process

Step 1: Log on to the Online Application Process on the Welingkar website www.welingkar.org, using the Form Number and Password

Step 2: On completing the online form, download the PDF form to fill out the essay questions

Step 3: Insert the form duly filled, with your recent passport size colour photograph affixed, attested photocopy of graduation marksheet and certificate if you have completed your graduation, documents pertaining to your work experience in case you have work experience, photocopies of your written test registration number and scores & send it to the Mumbai campus in the envelope provided by the Institute
Step 4: Once the CAT/ATMA/XAT/CMAT/MHCET/GMAT (2012 onwards) results are declared, log on to www.welingkar.org and submit your score and percentile

Important Date - Tentative cut-off date for Submission of Application Form is 31st December 2015
