Institute of Rural Management Anand invites applications for admission to IRMA Fellow Program in Rural Management 2016, which is a coursework-based doctoral level program with a residency requirement of minimum 3 years, approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) for the academic session 2016

IRMA’s Online Admissions Test on "Issues of Social Concern (ISC)" for Indian Nationals: 14th February 2016
Intimation for Group Activity & Personal Interview for Indian Nationals: 20th February 2016
Group Activity & Personal Interview for Indian Nationals: 07th to 19th March 2016
Telephonic Personal Interview (TPI) for Overseas Applicants: Last week of April 2016
Announcement of final results by: 31st March 2016
Last Date for submitting acceptance form with initial fee (online) of Rs.5000/-: 07th April 2016
Last date to deposit the first year fee (online): 30th April 2016
Induction Program: 13th to 25th June 2016
Beginning of First Term: 27th June 2016

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, an applicant must satisfy one of the following conditions:
(a) PGDRM from IRMA; (b) PGDRDM from IRMA with one-year post diploma work experience; (c) Post graduation in any discipline from a recognized university or Institution with 55% marks at PG and 50% marks at Graduation (college) level; (d) Five-year professional degree (medicine, veterinary science, architecture etc.) with 60% marks and at least one year work experience;
(e) Four-year professional degree (engineering, agricultural sciences etc.) with 60% marks and at least three years’ work experience

Selection Procedure

All applicants for IRMA Admissions have to additionally appear for "Issues of Social Concern" test

IRMA will use CAT 2015/ XAT 2016 scores. UGC JRF is mandatory, only NET is not sufficient for getting exemption from admissions test

FPRM participants are selected on the basis of the admissions test, interview, and presentation of an essay

Fellowship

Every FPRM participant receives a fellowship of Rs. 14,000/- per month till they clear the Comprehensive Qualifying Exam and then Rs 16,000/- per month and a contingency grant of Rs 20,000/- per year for a period of 4 years

How to Apply

a. An applicant can opt for one of the following options:
b. Apply online and pay through payment gateway
c. Make payment at any branch of IMS learning centre, after getting IMS receipt, apply only through IRMA website by using IMS receipt number
d. Take a print out of SBI challan. Make payment at any branch of SBI by using the challan. SBI would then issue a unique ID number
e. Use this unique ID number and apply online through IRMA website
f. Printed application material (prospectus, application form, sample question paper etc.) can be obtained from Admissions Office, IRMA, Anand-388001 on payment of full fees
