Important Dates

Date of submitting GMATCMAT or MAT scores 15th April 2016

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must hold a bachelor‘s degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% in case of the candidates belonging to SC/ST and DA
The percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in the bachelor‘s degree will be calculated based on the practice followed by the university/institution from where the candidate has obtained the degree
In case the candidate is awarded grades/CGPA instead of marks, the conversion of grades/CGPA to percentage of marks will be based on the procedure certified by the university/ institution from where the candidate has obtained the bachelor’s degree
In case the university/ institution does not have any scheme for  converting CGPA  into  equivalent  marks,  the equivalence will be established by dividing the candidate‘s CGPA by the maximum possible  CGPA and multiplying the result with 100
Candidates appearing for the final year of bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification exam and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply
The students need to submit their graduation scores latest by 31st August, 2016; if the students fail to submit the score or get below 50% in graduation they will be ineligible for the program

Selection Process

Applicants may submit any one of test Scores - CAT, GMAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT score (applicants may also submit more than one test score). Short-listed applicants will be called for a Written Test, GD and PI round at the campus. Applicants will be called for an interview only once
Criteria for preparing the Merit List:
01. CAT, MAT, GMAT, CMAT Score: 40%
02. Group Discussion: 15%
03. Personal Interview: 15%
04. Academic Profile: 20%
05. Statement of Purpose: 10%
06. Work Experience (Additional above 100%): 5%
The candidates would also need to appear for a test on the mathematical ability upto Std. XII; this will be conducted on campus when they are called for the GDPI, before the GDPI
These scores would be used purely for internal purposes only

How to Apply

To apply to DSB, the applicant must complete the online "Application Form". The details for the online process are available on the portal.
You may also download the application form the university website www.dsb.edu.in or www.vips.edu
The applicant must print the Registration Slip from the website after completing the application form. The Registration Slip will serve as a temporary ID for all interactions with DSB. Once the applicant are admitted, he/she will receive the final Enrollment Number
The Admission Committee will decide the number of candidates to be called for the next step, or Personal Appearance interview, on the basis of short listed merit list prepared. DSB accepts CAT, GMAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT examinations as criteria for admission; the applicant is required to fill the IDs of all the test score he/she wishes to submit
Applicants submitting GMAT, CMAT or MAT scores have until 15th April 2016 to submit their applications
In case you do not receive a confirmation email on completing the online application, you can still log on to the Admissions Portal http://dsb.edu.in/application2016, where you can edit, print or view your application
