NAARM Hyderabad Admission Announcement PGDMA 2016-18

National Academy of Agricultural Research Management (NAARM), Hyderabad announces the admission to 8th Batch of PGDMA(Post Graduate Diploma in Management in Agriculture) 2-year fully residential programme in agribusiness management for the session 2016-18. National Academy NAARM Hyderabad PGDMA Admission Notice 2016 has been announced. 

The program is duly approved by AICTE and Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi

Important Dates

Last Date for Submission of Application Form: 31st March 2016
Tentative date for GD/PI: June 2016
The course will commence in the first week of July 2016

Eligibility Criteria

The minimum qualification for admission to the PGDMA is a 4-year bachelor’s degree from any Agricultural University or Institution recognized by the ICAR/UGC in disciplines such as Agriculture, Agri-Business Mgmt./Commercial Agriculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Agricultural Engg., Agricultural Information Technology, Agricultural Bioinformatics, Agricultural Biotechnology, Dairy Science/Technology, Fisheries, Food Technology/Food Process Engg., Forestry, Horticulture, Sericulture, Agricultural and Irrigation Engg., Home Science, B.Sc (Cooperation & Banking Management) and Veterinary Sciences

Minimum percentage of 50% or its equivalent OGPA in graduation

The students who are going to complete their degree latest by June 2016 are also eligible to apply

Selection Procedure

The admission to PGDMA would be based on CAT 2015 /CMAT 2016 Scores, Academic record, group Discussion and Personal Interview

The applicants will be shortlisted won the basis of CAT/CMAT Scores Shortlisted candidates will be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview to be held at NAARM campus tentatively during 01st week of June 2016

Total No. of Seats: 40 (Forty)

Reservation: As per the Govt. of India requirements, 15% of the seats are reserved for Scheduled Castes (SC) and 7.5% for Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates, 27% of seats reserved for other Backward Classes candidates belonging to the 'non-creamy' layer (NC-OBC)

Fee Details

Fee for PGDMA 2016-18 will be around Rs.6.00 lakhs (Rupees Six Lakhs) for two years. This includes cost towards lodge & board, tuition, library, exam, medical, insurance, graduation day expenses, caution deposit etc.

How to Apply

Applicants should apply through the on-line application available at website www.naarm.ernet.in

After online submission, a printout of filled in application and photocopies of relevant documents along with demand draft of Rs.500/- for General / OBC candidates (Rs.300/- for SC/ST Candidates) in favour of ICAR Unit-NAARM A/c payable at Hyderabad should be sent to the Joint Director (Admn) and Registrar, National Academy of Agricultural Research Management (NAARM), Rajendranagar, Hyderabad-500030 (Andhra Pradesh)
