Sri Sathya Sai Institute - SSSIHL Admissions 2016
Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning invites admission application for eligible candidates to the following academic programs 2016-17. SSSIHL offers several courses for admissions (Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Professional programmes) for applicants. The notification for Sri Sathya Sai Institute (AP) SSSIHL UG PG Admissions 2016 has been announced.
There are separate programmes available for Women and Men applicants, as the University hosts separate campuses for women and men students. The University also offers PhD Programs for Women and Men students. These are not open for direct admissions
The remaining postgraduate courses are integrated programs where students graduating in certain undergraduate programs automatically qualify for Masters Programs, provided they meet the eligibility criteria at the undergraduate level
The following is a full list of degree programs that are open for admissions to SSSIHL in 2016:
Programmes for Women
Undergraduate Programs (3 years): B.A., B.Com (Hons), BBA, B.Sc in Food Science & Nutrition, Food Technology, B.Sc (Hons) in Mathematics/Physics/Chemistry, Biosciences/Chemistry (leading to postgraduate program)
Post Graduate Programs (2 years): M.A. (English Language and Literature), M.Sc (Biosciences, Food Science & Nutrition and Food Technology)
Professional Programs (1 year): B.Ed, M.Ed and MBA
Programmes for Men
Undergraduate Programs (3 years): B.A., B.A. (Hons) Economics, B.Sc (Hons) Economics, B.Com (Hons) Leading to Master of Finance, BBM, BCA, Integrated MCA (5-yr), B.Sc (Hons) Mathematics/Physics/Chemistry/ Biosciences (leading to postgraduate programmes in respective subject)
Postgraduate Programs (2 years): M.A. Economics, M.Sc Mathematics, Physics, Material Science, Chemistry and Bioscience
Professional Programs (2 years): MBA, MBA (Finance), M.Tech (Computer Science, Optoelectronics and Communications)
Eligibility Criteria for SSSIHL Admission 2016:
For Undergraduate Programs:
Candidates should have completed 10+2 or 12 years of schooling of a recognized board or CBSE, or equivalent thereof. Candidates should have either passed or appeared for the final qualifying exam at the XII standard level before the date of admission test
At the X standard level, the candidate should have secured minimum of 55% marks in General English, and minimum of 60% marks in aggregate in all the subjects including General English and languages
Candidates who fall marginally short of the requirement may be considered for admission test, provided they have secured in the XI Standard minimum of 55% marks in General English and minimum of 60% marks in aggregate in all the subjects including General English and languages
The candidate should preferably be below 19 years of age as on 31st May of the year of admission
For Postgraduate Programs:

Eligibility for Integrated MCA Program (5 years for Men Candidates only)
Candidates who have either passed or appeared for final exams of class 12 level or have passed 10+2 years of schooling from a recognized board (CBSE or equivalent), with at least 60% marks (aggregate including English) are eligible to apply for the Integrated MCA program at Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, Anantapur
In XI/XII Standard, Mathematics (inc. Algebra, Geometry, Calculus and basic Statistics) must be studied
The candidate should preferably be below 19 years of age as on 31st May of the year of admission
Eligibility for MBA (for Women and Men Candidates):
Candidates should have completed 10+2 years of schooling and 3 years of University, (total 15 years) as recognized by SSSIHL; either passed or appeared for Final exams at Bachelor’s degree level before Admission Test
Bachelor’s Degree 50% or more (English) and 60% (aggregate including English) or CGPA aggregate of 6 or more (10-point scale)/35 or more (5-point scale) with 50% or more in English (If not appeared for Bachelor’s degree final exams, aggregate marks in all the preceding years/Semesters put together marks will be considered)
Master’s degree 60% (Aggregate including English) or CGPA aggregate of 6 or more (10 point scale)/35 or more (5 point scale) with 50% or more in English at the Bachelor’s level
The candidate should preferably be below 19 years of age as on 31st May of the year of admission
Eligibility for M.Tech in Computer Science Program:
Candidates should have completed 10+2 years of schooling and 3 years of University, (total 15 years) as recognized by SSSIHL; either passed or appeared for Final exams at Bachelor’s degree level before Admission Test
Bachelor’s Degree 50% or more (English) and 60% (aggregate including English) or CGPA aggregate of 6 or more (10-point scale)/35 or more (5-point scale) with 50% or more in English (If not appeared for Bachelor’s degree final exams, aggregate marks in all the preceding years/Semesters put together marks will be considered)

How to Apply
SSSIHL offers all applicants two options of initiating the application process for admissions:
Online - via the online application portal (recommended), or
Postal - get a paper application form posted to you by the University
Online Application: For students, who choose this option please visit the link for the online application portal; in this option, you will be guided step-by-step on how to fill in the form
Note: It is mandatory that you have an email ID; if you do not one yet, we suggest you create an online account with a popular service provider such as Google, yahoo, hotmail, etc; there are all free of charge
Once you have completed filling in the form, you will be able to view the filled-in application form in PDF format and save it on your computer
