VIT University Vellore Admission to MBA Degree Programmes 2016 - 2017

Applications are open for admission to Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at VIT University (VIT), Vellore offered at VIT Business School for Vellore and Chennai campuses for the commencing session 2016. VIT University Vellore MBA Admission Notification 2016 has been announced.

Last Date for Filling up online Application: 28th February 2016

Date of WAT and PI: 06th March 2016 (Sunday)

Eligibility Criteria

Candidate should be a resident Indian national and should have graduated from colleges located in India

Candidate should have minimum of 60% in the qualifying full-time bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or institution

The Bachelor's degree should be of minimum three years duration after completion of higher secondary education (10+2) or equivalent. The candidates should have studied in regular full-time programmes

The candidates appearing for final year exam in 2016, whose results will be published before August 2016, are also eligible to apply
Relevant work experience will be an added advantage

The candidates should have taken any one of the tests CAT/XAT/MAT/NMAT/GMAT/CMAT and the scores should be made available to the admissions office before the last date of application

Selection Procedure

All eligible candidates will be invited for a written assessment test (WAT) and a personal interview (PI)

WAT and PI will be held at centre in Bhopal, Chennai, Cochin, Coimbatore, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Madurai, Mumbai, New Delhi, Ranchi, Thiruvananthapuram, Vellore and Vijayawada
The final selection will be made based on the academic performance, profile scoring-work experience, awards and recognition, Written Assessment Test (WAT), Personal Interview (PI) and the entrance test score

Program Fee

Fee for the 2 years MBA program is Rs 5.98 Lakh (I Year - Rs.3.03 L; II Year - Rs.2.95 L)

Before proceeding to application, a computerized DD of drawn from any Nationalised Bank in favour of the VIT University, payable at 'Vellore' should be kept ready with a cover letter indicating the following information:

i. Name of the Candidate
ii. Program and campus to which admitted (enclose photocopy of provisional admit card)
iii. Total amount to be paid
iv. Name of the Bank, Branch, DD No. and Date

Send the printout of filled-out application form after affixing the photo and signature along with the Demand Draft (computerized DD) addressed to "The Director - PG Admissions, VIT University, Vellore-632014" (Tamil Nadu)
