The Xavier Aptitude Test is an all-India test conducted by Xavier Association of Management Institutes (XAMI) as an entrance exam for admission to the post graduate programs in management courses of several management institutes all over India.

Eligibility

• A candidate must be a graduate from a recognized university or a deemed university. • Candidates appearing for the final year of bachelor’s degree and awaiting results can also apply.

Test Duration & Pattern (XAT 2014) Section Number of Questions Duration 1. Decision Making 25 140 mins 2. Verbal and Logical Ability 30 3. Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation 36 Essay & General Awareness 40 mins Negative Marking: 1/4th of the marks allotted for every question Number of options: 5 30 General Awareness questions were asked, which were based on Current Affairs & factual GK. Candidates had to attempt the essay as well as the General Awareness questions. Exam Format XAT is a paper based aptitude test, followed by a subjective test on essay writing & general awareness.
