GNLU Gandhinagar MBA Admission 2017 Eligibility, Dates

Gujarat National Law University Gandhinagar MBA Admission 2017

Gujarat National Law University (GNLU) Gandhinagar has invited applications for admissions to Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Financial Management and Business Laws Program for 2017 sessions.
Eligibility Criteria for MBA Admission 2017
The program will be open to the graduates from any recognized university or institute with minimum qualification in/with commerce, management, law, arts, science and engineering except fine arts.
Only Applicants who have appeared at Common Admission Test (CAT) 2016 conducted by IIMs are eligible to apply.
The applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree, with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA (50% in case of the applicants belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability (PWD)/ Differently Abled (DA) category).
Applicants appearing for the final year of bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting Results can also apply.

Admission Procedure

The overall weightage for various components for admission to the program will be as follows:
Particulars of the applicant: (01) CAT 2016 percentile score – 60% weightage; (02) Legal Aptitude Test – 15% weightage; (03) Group Discussion & Personal Interview – 15% weightage and; (04) Academic record & Prior Work experience – 10% weightage.
*basic knowledge of Indian legal system & Current legal affairs.

Intake & Reservations

For MBA in Financial Management and Business Laws (PG Course): Gen – 23, SC – 05, ST – 02 & Total 30 Seats.
*30% seats is horizontally reserved for Female applicants and 3% horizontally reserved for applicants belonging to Specially Abled Category.

How to Apply?

Apply Online (MBA in Financial Management and Business Laws).
Online Application will be made available on University website (www.gnlu.ac.in). Applicants will be required to submit the application form along with the prescribed fees online at www.gnlu.ac.in.
Application Fees Rs.2000/- (for SC/ST Applicants fees is Rs.1500/-).

Important Dates for GNLU Gandhinagar MBA Admission 2017

Applicants can submit a soft copy of their duly filled application form along with a scanned copy of DD/NEFT receipt: March 31st 2017
Applicants can submit a hard copy of their duly filled application form along with a hard copy of DD/NEFT receipt at GNLU: April 08th 2017
Legal Aptitude Test, Group Discussion & Personal Interview: June 13th 2017
Declaration of Results: June 17th 2017
Payment of Fees for first semester: Latest by June 27th 2017
Wait list to fill the vacant seats: June 29th 2017
Commencement of Academic year: July 01st 2017
