Gujarat National Law University Gandhinagar MBA Admission 2017

Gujarat National Law University (GNLU) Gandhinagar has invited applications for admissions to Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Financial Management and Business Laws Program for 2017 sessions.

Eligibility Criteria for MBA Admission 2017

The program will be open to the graduates from any recognized university or institute with minimum qualification in/with commerce, management, law, arts, science and engineering except fine arts.

Only Applicants who have appeared at Common Admission Test (CAT) 2016 conducted by IIMs are eligible to apply.

The applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree, with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA (50% in case of the applicants belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability (PWD)/ Differently Abled (DA) category).

Applicants appearing for the final year of bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting Results can also apply.

Admission Procedure

The overall weightage for various components for admission to the program will be as follows:

Particulars of the applicant: (01) CAT 2016 percentile score – 60% weightage; (02) Legal Aptitude Test – 15% weightage; (03) Group Discussion & Personal Interview – 15% weightage and; (04) Academic record & Prior Work experience – 10% weightage.

*basic knowledge of Indian legal system & Current legal affairs.

*30% seats is horizontally reserved for Female applicants and 3% horizontally reserved for applicants belonging to Specially Abled Category.

Xavier Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship (XIME) Bangalore has invited applications for admission to 2 years Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) program offered at Bangalore and Kochi campuses for the commencing session 2017.

Intake: Annual intake of 180 students at Bangalore and 120 students in Kochi.

Eligibility Criteria for XIME Bangalore PGDM Admission 2017

Applicants for XIME’s PGDM are required to have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks for all subjects taken together (45% for SC/ST applicants).

Applicants who are appearing for their final year exam and are awaiting their results may also apply; they should have maintained an average of 50% marks in the degree course until that time.

Such applicants are required to provide proof of passing the degree exam with the minimum required marks of 50%, latest by September 10th 2017.

Only applicants who score at least 70 percentile in any of the exams, XAT/CAT/CMAT/MAT are eligible for admission and others need not apply.

SNAP 2017 Admit Card

The SNAP admit card will be released by the authority from the 2nd December, 2016 and available till exam date. Candidates can download SNAP admit card through the official site. It is compulsory to bring admit card along with photo identity proof at the time of the test. Candidates make sure to paste latest passport size, colored photograph on the admit card. Candidates are advised to keep the admit card safe till the admission procedure.

SNAP 2017 Result

The exam authority will provide the result to students on 9th January, 2016. Candidates can check SNAP result through the official site. After result declaration, candidates will be shortlisted for Group Exercise, Personal Interaction and Writing Ability Test on the basis of SNAP Score. Admission Procedure

TISSNET 2017

TISSNET is a National level test, that will be conducted by TATA Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. The TISS Results 2017 are expected to be declared on January 27, 2017. It is a semester based course (mostly 4 semesters) deals with the theoretical aspects of business. There are two types of MBA- General and Specialized, and cover different subjects including Commerce, economics, Management etc.
Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) is equivalent to MBA, but a PGDM graduate can’t do the PhD since it is not recognized. But now most of the organizations/firms prefer PGDM over MBA because of the industry relevance. There are also other programs like Post Graduate Programs (PGP) in business for the future Managers.
