SNAP - Symbiosis National Aptitude Test(SNAP)

SNAP 2014 - Symbiosis National Aptitude Test acronym as SNAP is a mandatory written test for taking admission to 17 reputed institutions offering various post graduate courses offered by Symbiosis International University [SIU]. through its prestigious constituent institutions. A successful candidate in the written exam has to undergo the selection process of the desired Institute to qualify for the admission to the following given various Post-Graduate programmes offered by SIU and associated Institutes Main courses offered by the  assoicated institutes are:
  1. Two years full-time Master of Business Administration (MBA) [Specializations in Marketing / Finance / Human Resource / Operations Management.
  2. Masters of Business Administration – International Business [MBA-(IB)].
  3. Masters of Business Administration – Agri Business [MBA – (AB)].
  4. Masters of Business Administration – Energy & Environment [MBA–(E&E)].
  5. Two year full time Post Graduate Degree in Master of Business Administration (Telecom Management).

SNAP Test Eligibility

The candidate must have a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% marks. In case of the SC and ST, a minimum of 45% mark is sufficient.

SNAP Test is an objective test and has 150 questions to be completed in 120 minutes. Each question has 4 responses. Candidate should choose an appropriate response. It has 4 sections. In three sections each question carries 1 mark and in the one section each question carries 2 marks. Each wrong answer attracts 25% negative marks.


SNAP Test Exam Dates
SNAP is normally held in the month of December.

How to apply for SNAP?

The aspiring candidates need to register online for taking the exam. Visit the official link of SNAP, www.snaptest.org and register for the test.
After registering the candidates have to pay the application fee of Rs.1,500 by any of the following mode.
The applicants can pay the amount by cash. For that they have to take the Axis Bank Challan from the SNAP website and pay the amount in the selected braches of the bank. They will get a Symbiosis copy and student’s copy of the challan. Sign the Symbiosis copy and send to the “Symbiosis Test Secretariat”.OR

They can take the DD of set amount from the nationalized bank payable at Pune and send to the suggested address. Credit card and Net banking is yet another way for paying the application fee. The fee payment should done before the closing date, other wise your registration will be cancelled.
